Alas, it's both funny and sad because it's true.
BTW, neither The Book (the one that's been kicking around forever) nor The New Story (the one for which I wrote a whole 'nother page of notes today) has any made-up words at this point. I can't even make up character names, really... the only named character in The New Story so far is called "Fitch." Some freakin' fantasy writer I am, eh?
Hahahahaha. Also, maybe, an inverse relationship between book quality and the use of both apostrohes and the letter Y in the middle of proper names. As in "Gry'ffinwy'd." Which, come to think of it, may be Augie's little brother's name.

When my daughter was little she told me that when she grewed up she was going to have 2 childrens. The girl she'd name Flowers; the boy she'd name Grunco. Sadly, she doesn't like the names anymore now that she's 11, so feel free to use them in your book if you want.
