Last week: a strategy meeting for the magazine. A three-and-a-half-day Salt Lake City suburban extravaganza of brainstorming, team-building, type-finding (I'm an INFJ! What are you?) and much eating of surprisingly delicious food.
This week: a little R&R at the PHS*. A three-and-a-half-day Central Valley extravaganza of crossword puzzling, mom-and-daughter shopping, vegetarian meal preparation (Return of the amazingly delicious Summer Squash Rice Gratin!) and much noodling about in the backyard with the boys.
I, and the Pic-Dem, shall return to Portland Wednesday evening. And after I meet my looming deadlines for the next issue of the magazine, I'm going to work on The Book. Wanna hold me to it?

DId you ever post the recipe for the Summer Squash Rice Gratin? I don't have it down in my recipe book and I have quite a few of your recipes. Could/Would you mind posting it?

INFP checking in! I've taken the MBTI and its cousins a bazillion times in various staff development helltimes Nothing is worse than a room full of introverts doing "team building.". As I grew into adulthood, my "P" dwindled until I often tested INFX, which (besides sounding too cool) meant I split the difference. The more administrative my position, the more I veered perilously close to INFJ. I-J's often present as what most folks view as "extroverts," but they (we) can't wait to run home and hide. This time, my "P" is becoming more pronounced. Hence, I think, my current muddy thinking.
