A music video for a song by Polly Paulusma, stop-motion animated by Rima Staines.
If you could put your own artistic stamp on a folk- or fairytale, which one would it be?
Which versions of the old stories do you read to your children: Grimms/Perrault, Susan Jeffers or Walt Disney?
(Via Bioephemera.)
Cool animation! (Creepy.)
We do have a few Disney books, but they're in Korean, so we don't really read them so much as just go through and look at the pictures and tell a rather abbreviated version of the story.

We've never been able to get much traction with fairly tales (except the really gooey pricessy ones, you know, the kind of books that come with a locket, or bracelet, or something, for my own aspiring princess), until a dear friend gave us a set of Shelley Duvall's Fairy Tale Theater videos. A little weird, but funny, the kind of stuff that doesn't talk down to kids. They love it.
