It's all about me-me-me-me-meme

So, via azureavian, here's a fine new meme with an excellent new twist.

First, her questions and my answers:
1. do you have any tattoos? if not, why?
Yep, yep; I have two (an @ on my right ankle and a & on my left). And more planned. But eventually I will run out of skin that is ordinarily covered by clothing and then I will have to stop.

2. did you go to your 10 year high school reunion?
Nope. The wounds were still too raw. And, golly, I think it was fifteen years this summer... but I didn't hear anything about a reunion and wouldn't have gone anyway.

3. what daily chore do you hate the most (if any)?
Of the ones I actually do: scooping the catbox. There are others (laundry chief among them) which I hate so much that, er, I just don't ever do them.

4. have you ever gone, or would you ever go into Second Life?
I have not; I'm afraid it would suck me in and I spend far too much time staring at my screen as it is.

5. what is your secret musical vice?
Early-'80s club pop. Stacy Q, Nu Shooz, Keith Sweat, MARRZ, Samantha Fox. Isn't that horrifying?

And, direct from azureavian, this is how this meme works from here:

Desim's be da rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like [the food you hate most in all the world]. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your [blog] with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.

Sound good? Let's play!

Despite being right-handed, I wear my watch on my right wrist. When I meet a more culturally "astute" (i.e. nitpicky) person, they usually ask why I would do such a thing.

I read magazines from back to front. Just magazines.

I had to watch The Hunt for Red October three times to understand what the hell was going on. (And I don't know enough html to correctly underline that movie title, and I'm too lazy to look it up.)

I need to have bare feet in order to write very well. Shoes sap my creativity.

(and, ps, I hear you on the reunion thing!)

now see, i had wanted to go to the reunion, if nothing else to see how many people said "i told you so" on my marrying Wayne. also, to see you (futile, i see now) and others i had known and couldn't get ahold of (pointless, really, as most of the friends were in classes ahead of mine, but still). i guess i am not so bitter anymore at them. i want my chance at a few i-told-you-so myself.

oops, forgot to say -- the reason i didn't go is that i received the invite the day of the reunion, too late to see if i could still go. grr, and i had almost convinced Wayne to go with, too.

It was fantastic to see you at CHA - thanks for coming by the booth - I got back from dinner on Saturday night way late and would have been done in by another drink (which is why I did not text as I promised).

Random... when at work, I need to have all the icons on my task bar in a certain order to be productive. I will actually close programs and reopen them so that they are in the correct sequence. If there is a trick to rearrange them, I would love to learn it as this is a huge time suck on some days (although I think I sometimes do it as a procrastination tool!)

There is, indeed, a trick, Jennifer, but it involves buying a Mac. ;-)
